Visit to Tlaquepaque

 On a recent trip to Guadalajara, we made a side trip to Tlaquepaque. The city was designated "Pueblo Mágico" in 2018. It is a resort focused on the crafts of pottery, textiles and blowing glass. Its streets and walkers are adorned with various Casonas of the last century. It was fun walking around and having lunch at Casa Luna.

Day of the Dead Celebration in Oaxaca

We traveled to Oaxaca from Oct. 28 to Nov.3 to observe and participate in activities associated with the Day of the Dead celebration. We stayed at Oaxaca Real Hotel, close to the center of town and to the activities.
